Hall Hire

The WI Centre offers flexible venue hire with two well-equipped spaces available: the Main Hall and the Committee Room.

Both rooms include shared access to the kitchen and on-site facilities.

Ample free parking is available on site for your convenience. Ideally located in the heart of Huntingdon, the WI Centre sits just off the ring road and benefits from excellent transport links. Huntingdon Bus Station is only a two-minute walk away, while Huntingdon Train Station can be reached on foot in approximately ten minutes.

The centre is also within a ten-minute drive of both the A1 and A14, making it easily accessible for local and visiting guests alike

Main Hall

The Main Hall is a spacious, open-plan room with direct access to the kitchen and a convenient serving hatch. It is equipped with a permanently installed projector, screen, and sound system, with HDMI connectivity available. Large windows allow for plenty of natural daylight, creating a bright and welcoming environment.

This versatile space is ideal for larger groups, events, and gatherings. Maximum capacities are:

  • 80 guests seated in theatre style
  • 60 guests in cabaret style
  • 40 guests in boardroom style

The approximate dimensions of the Main Hall are 33ft x 22ft

Committee Room

The Committee Room is a smaller, versatile space ideal for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and small group activities. The room offers a comfortable and quiet environment, with convenient access to the shared kitchen and facilities.

Well suited for more intimate gatherings, the Committee Room can accommodate: up to 20 people seated, depending on layout. Its flexible setup makes it an excellent choice for board meetings, presentations, or breakout sessions alongside events in the Main Hall.

  • 25 guests in cabaret style
  • 30 guests seated in theatre style
  • 15 guests in boardroom style

The approximate size of the Committee Room is: 22.5ft x 15ft.

Facilities

Both rooms are equipped with tables and chairs for flexible room layouts, and a flipchart board is available for use. Hirers also benefit from shared access to the fully equipped kitchen, which includes a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, hot water urn, kettles, as well as crockery and cutlery.

An accessible toilet is available on site, and ample free on-site parking is provided for added convenience.

Charges

Main Hall – £14.00 per hour

Small Room – £10.00 per hour

Both Rooms – £22.00 per hour

Shared use of kitchen and car park included.

Hiring out of office hours? Subject to a key holders fee. Open or close – £4.00. Open and close – £8.00

Our office hours are 9am-1pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hiring outside of these times will be subject to the keyholder fee.

We do not accept bookings for birthday parties, weddings, family gatherings etc.
